Not sure of your Gaynor Minden size? Our Size Conversion Chart is one of the most accurate available. You'll find ribbons & elastics (pre-cut, by-the-roll, and support), as well as all the other stuff you need for class, rehearsal, and performance in the Dance Accessories Section. Please Note: Because the possible size, shape, and fit combinations are so extensive (nearly 3,000 standard combinations), and because the shoes last so long, we caution all first-time wearers (and all dancers changing size) to be custom-fit by a professional. Gaynor Minden publishes a 30-page manual to help professionals fit you properly into your correct shoe. Although we will do our very best to fit you based on our experience and expertise and on the information you provide, we cannot guarantee an exact fit without having your actual feet in our shop. Gaynor Minden's sizing runs about 1/2 to 1 full size up from US street shoe size. For example, a Gaynor size 6 will probably fit a US street shoe size 5 or 5-1/2. These shoes should not be fitted tight. The specially lined satin does not stretch out nearly as much as conventionally-lined satin shoes. A small, 1/4-inch pinch at the highest part of the heel, near the drawstring-casing, is correct.
