We were forced to (regretfully) remove our Costuming Q & A Message Forum back in August 2006. It was only up for 1 year, but so many of you made such really great contributions, and we deeply thank all of you for your participation.
We do hope to be able to restore the board sometime soon, and simply
turn it back on right where we (and you) left off.

For those who want more 'what & why': Beginning in April 2006, forums like ours everywhere became targets for the 'trash & spam' criminals. Like most other trashy Internet scams, they use robots to find the forums, automatically create logins and passwords, and then post 'sales messages' for their various 'products'. Controlling and eliminating the problem became very time-consuming (the robots and automated software are fast and can work around the clock), and the only available solutions require that we change our webhost and install new and better software.

Our primary concerns were always for your enjoyment, safety, and security, as well as our own image. We just don't believe you should be subjected to that kind of trash while visiting a site like ours.
